Remarkables Grand Traverse

The Remarkables Grand Traverse is considered to be one of the most classic single day alpine routes in New Zealand. Unfortunately we lost a lot of time with route finding and navigating snow & rock (a completely new kind of climbing for us!) so we didn’t finish the traverse this day. Instead we watched the sunset from the top of double cone and bailed down a couloir in the dark. But we’ll be back! Maybe next time before the first winter snow dumping.
