A nice easy day mission from Queenstown.
We parked at the Glacier Burn track just past Glenorchy at about 8am, and were back down at the car at 1pm. 11.5km return, 1400m vert, roughly 5 hours in total.
The glacier was epic, and there’s actually a waterfall running backwards from the glacier into the mountain! Very cool.
We sussed out the mountain above - Mt Bonpland. Will have to be next time!
